Company establishment

Officine Meccaniche di Lesmo Spa (OM Lesmo) was established in Northern Italy, on the outskirts of the industrial area of Milan.

During this time manufacturing was limited to rotating machines for electrical cables and metal rope, as well as braiding machines for the production of carbon wire, braided wire for stranded cables, sheathing for tubes and also suture thread for surgery. This was the start, and also the development of the relationships with the largest cable manufacturers at the time.
