Wire Straightener – ASF and D Type (optional guide bushing)
• Used mainly on the vertical axis of coiling machinery
• Also used on wire netting machines
• Regulates wire bending
• Supplied with or without guide bushing
• Single and dual plane straightener models for ASF type (ASF 1 = Single Plane / ASF 2 = Dual Plane)
• Single plane for D type
• From 5 ~ 7 rollers per group
• Roller diameter 22 ~ 62 mm (0.86" ~ 2.44") for ASF type
• Roller diameter 30 ~ 52 mm (1.18" ~ 2.04") for D type
• Rollers available for light or heavy duty applications
• Model ASF for wire R = 60 N/mm² (8400 psi) max. with normal rollers (single or double bearing)
• Model ASF - CAW for wire R = 60 N/mm² (8400 psi) to R = 220 N/mm² (313 000 psi) with double roller bearing construction and separate hardened-steel sleeve, 62~63 HrC
• Rollers are standard “V” groove profiles but can be provided with “U” grooves according to customer requirements
